A2 Bikes Limited Lifetime Frame Warranty
Every A2 carbon frame is covered by a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner. From your first race to your biggest achievement, we stand behind every frame we make — for as long as you own the bike.
What's covered
- All A2 carbon frames are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.
- Coverage applies to bikes purchased new from A2 Bikes or an authorized A2 dealer, with proof of purchase.
- Components and parts not manufactured by A2 (drivetrain, wheels, brakes, saddles, etc.) are covered by their original manufacturers' warranties — and we'll help you navigate those claims.
What's not covered
- Normal wear and tear, including paint and finish over time.
- Damage from crashes or impact — but you're not on your own there: see our Crash Replacement Policy, which covers every A2 rider with a 30% discount on a replacement frame.
- Improper assembly, maintenance, or repair work not performed to A2 or component-manufacturer specifications.
- Modifications to the frame, or use of incompatible parts or components.
- Use exceeding the maximum total weight limit of 130 kg / 287 lb (rider plus gear).
- Commercial use, rental, or competition damage beyond the frame's intended use.
How to make a claim
- Email info@a2bikes.com with your proof of purchase, the frame's serial number, and clear photos of the issue.
- Our team will review your claim, usually within a few business days, and may request additional photos or an inspection.
- If the frame is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship, A2 will repair or replace it at our discretion with the same or a comparable current model.
The fine print
- This warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable.
- Replacement of a frame does not extend the original warranty period.
- This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. It gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary by state.
