SP Setup

Any new SP can be hand-assembled out of the box by following the instructions in the video below.

A2 Bikes SP

Fastener torque settings

Use a calibrated torque wrench. Carbon contact points are torque-critical β€” never exceed the stated value, and defer to any value stamped on the component.

Carbon β€” torque critical

Cockpit (basebar / extension clamps) 5–6 N·m (44–53 in-lb)
Seatpost / saddle clamp 5–6 N·m (44–53 in-lb)
Compression (top) cap 2–3 N·m (18–27 in-lb)

Drivetrain

Pedal 34.5–40 N·m (307–354 in-lb)
Rear derailleur mounting bolt 8–10 N·m (70–86 in-lb)
Rear derailleur cable pinch 4–5 N·m (35–45 in-lb)
Rear derailleur pulley bolt 3–4 N·m (27–36 in-lb)

Brakes

Disc rotor to hub 4–7 N·m (36–60 in-lb)
Disc caliper mount 6–9 N·m (52–84 in-lb)

Wheels

Thru-axle See hub / axle spec

Carbon clamp values (cockpit, seatpost) are SP-specific. Drivetrain and brake values are general fastener ranges β€” confirm against the Shimano / SRAM spec for the installed groupset. Values in parentheses are in-lb.

Rogue Setup
