WARRANTY COVERAGE

A2 Bikes warrants to the original retail purchaser that each new A2 Bikes SP Frameset and Rogue Frameset is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product under normal use and service conditions.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the frame and rigid fork (if applicable) against manufacturing defects that cause the frame to fail structurally during normal riding conditions when used as intended.

DURATION OF COVERAGE

This warranty extends for the lifetime of the original retail purchaser and commences on the date of purchase from an authorized A2 Bikes dealer or directly from A2 Bikes. "Lifetime" is defined as the reasonable expected service life of the frameset under normal use conditions, which A2 Bikes determines to be a minimum of 10 years from the date of manufacture.

WHO IS COVERED

This warranty extends exclusively to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer or A2 Bikes directly is required for all warranty claims.

PRODUCT REGISTRATION

To activate your full lifetime warranty coverage, you must register your frameset at www.a2bikes.com/warranty within sixty (60) days of purchase. Registration requires:

Serial number (located on bottom bracket shell)
Proof of purchase documentation
Owner contact information
Authorized dealer information (if applicable)

Framesets that are not registered within 60 days will receive a limited 5-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.

MODEL-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

SP Frameset (Triathlon)

The SP Frameset is designed exclusively for triathlon and time trial use on paved surfaces. Warranty coverage requires:

Maximum tire clearance: 28mm measured width when mounted and inflated. Installation of tires exceeding this specification voids warranty coverage.
Original stem requirement: The frameset must be used with the original A2 Bikes aerodynamic stem or approved compatible models listed in the SP Frameset Compatibility Guide.
Component compatibility: All components must meet specifications outlined in the SP Frameset owner's manual, including aerobars, extensions, and hydration systems.
Usage conditions: Limited to paved roads and closed-course events where tires maintain continuous ground contact.

Rogue Frameset (Road/Light Off-Road)

The Rogue Frameset is designed for road cycling and light off-road use. Warranty coverage requires:

Maximum tire clearance: 35mm measured width when mounted and inflated, with minimum 4mm clearance at all points.
Usage conditions: Suitable for paved roads, gravel paths, fire roads, and non-technical unpaved surfaces. Brief loss of tire contact from surface irregularities under 3 inches is within design parameters.
Component compatibility: Compatible with standard road and gravel components meeting ISO standards as specified in the Rogue Frameset owner's manual.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

1. Normal Wear and Tear

Paint chips, scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage
Fading or discoloration from normal use or exposure
Wear to replaceable parts (headset bearings, bottom bracket threads)

2. Damage from Accidents or External Forces

Crashes, impacts, or collisions during riding or racing
Damage from transportation, including airline or vehicle transport
Damage from bike racks, trainers, or storage systems
Acts of nature including but not limited to flooding, fire, or extreme weather

3. Improper Use or Modification

Use outside the frameset's intended purpose or design category
Installation of components not meeting specifications
Exceeding maximum rider weight limit of 130kg (285 lbs) including gear
Any modification to the frame including drilling, filing, or alteration
Use with non-compatible wheels, forks, or components

4. Improper Assembly or Maintenance

Incorrect assembly or installation of components
Failure to maintain proper torque specifications
Damage from improper tools or techniques
Corrosion from lack of maintenance or exposure to salt/chemicals
Damage from pressure washing or harsh cleaning chemicals

5. Commercial Use

Rental or loan programs
Commercial delivery services
Professional coaching or instruction programs

6. Competition and Training

While normal racing and training use is not excluded, damage occurring during competition or training is not covered under this warranty

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Step 1: Initial Assessment Contact your authorized A2 Bikes dealer or A2 Bikes directly at info@a2bikes.com with:

Frameset serial number and registration information
Detailed description of the issue
Clear photographs showing the concern from multiple angles
Proof of purchase documentation

Step 2: Inspection Requirements Structural warranty claims require physical inspection by:

An authorized A2 Bikes dealer, or
A2 Bikes warranty department (shipping costs to A2 Bikes are customer's responsibility)

Step 3: Claim Determination A2 Bikes will evaluate the claim within 14 business days of receipt and determine whether the issue is covered under warranty. A2 Bikes reserves the sole right to determine warranty coverage.

Step 4: Remedy If a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, A2 Bikes will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the frameset
Replace the frameset with the same or comparable model
Provide a credit toward a new A2 Bikes product if the model is discontinued

A2 Bikes is not responsible for labor costs, transportation, or any incidental expenses related to warranty service.

LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS

Limitation of Liability A2 Bikes's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective frameset. A2 Bikes shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, transportation costs, or commercial losses.

No Other Warranties This Limited Lifetime Warranty is the only express warranty provided by A2 Bikes for its framesets. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this express warranty.

Jurisdiction Limitations Some states or countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. If such laws apply to you, some limitations in this warranty may not apply.

SAFETY NOTICES

Regular Inspection Required Framesets should be regularly inspected for signs of fatigue, stress, or damage. Any unusual creaking, visible cracks, dents, or deformation should be immediately evaluated by a qualified mechanic.

Carbon Fiber Specific (if applicable) Carbon fiber can fail without visible warning signs. After any significant impact, carbon framesets must be professionally inspected before further use, even if no damage is visible.

Torque Specifications All bolts and components must be tightened to manufacturer specifications using a calibrated torque wrench. Over-tightening can cause immediate or delayed failure not covered under warranty.

A2 Bikes reserves the right to modify this warranty policy for future purchases. The warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase will apply to your frameset. No dealer, agent, or employee of A2 Bikes is authorized to alter, modify, or extend this warranty.

EFFECTIVE DATE AND VERSION

This warranty applies to all A2 Bikes framesets purchased after [8/25/2025]. For framesets purchased before this date, please refer to the warranty documentation provided at the time of purchase.
