Because This Sport Shouldn’t Feel Solo.
Triathlon and cycling are some of the most rewarding sports out there. Nothing really compares to the feeling of crossing that finish line after months of hard work. But let’s be honest: a lot of that hard work happens alone. Whether it's early morning trainer rides, long brick sessions, quiet hours in aero… it can all feel pretty isolating. And sometimes, the only thing getting us through the workday is trading kudos with each other on Strava ;)
As a DTC brand, we understand that we add to that challenge in some ways. As a small team, we can’t always be out there hosting group rides or popping up at local races. Our athletes are spread across the country (and the world). So that's why we have been working on some ways to make every A2 athlete feel part of something bigger.
We’ve been asking ourselves this question: How do we make being an A2 athlete feel less isolated and more connected? Here’s what we’re doing:

A New A2 Facebook Community Group Forum
Firstly, we’re excited to launch the All A2 Members Facebook Community Group. If you own an A2 bike or want to be involved with the brand, you’re invited!
This is your space to:
-
Ask questions about your setup and get inspiration
-
Get help from other athletes and the A2 team
-
Share accomplishments, race recaps, and what your upcoming races are to connect with other A2 athletes
-
Engage with people who actually get it
- Participate in polls, votes, and have a say in what we create next
Whether you’re prepping for your first 70.3 or chasing another PR, we want this community to be here for you. Huge shoutout to SP owner, Rupe (@rupeteryx on Instagram), who recommended us this idea. Thanks, Rupe!
Join the A2 Strava Group
We also created an A2 Strava group, another way to stay connected, motivated, and inspired. See what fellow A2 athletes are doing for their workouts, and most importantly, give each other more kudos:
If you ride an A2 bike, coast into:
-
Logging your rides
-
See what other A2 athletes are doing on two wheels
-
Distribute and receive all the Kudos to stay motivated, especially during the off-season
It’s an easy, fun way to feel like you’re part of a larger training crew and community.
Introducing A2 Awards
And because we want to continue growing a strong, supportive community, we’re rolling out something completely new: A2 Awards. The A2 Awards are something we came up with to celebrate some of the A2 community's achievements each month. Here is how it works: we will roll out a challenge on the FB Community Forum every month in 2026, and whoever is at the top of the leaderboard or gets the most votes by the end of the month will be sent an award! (The awards will vary from small to big, so stay tuned to see what you can win 👀)

Why are we doing all of this?
A2 has always been about building a space where people can chase goals, share accomplishments, and push themselves alongside others who speak the same language of bikes.
Even though we are a DTC brand, we don't want that to mean we’re distant. With these new community spaces, our goal is to make every A2 athlete feel supported by the A2 team and community.
We are also going to try to get out to more races next year, so we might see you in your city! Post in the FB Community Forum which races we should come to. See you out there!
